Example Data & Test Cases
Sample Input Files & Templates
These example files demonstrate the required data format for TECO-CNP model simulations. Users should prepare their own datasets following these templates and formats.
Model Forcing Data
- Forcing Data Documentation: Format guide for meteorological variables and data structure
- Forcing Dataset - Ready-to-use complete forcing dataset for model testing
Site Parameters
- Parameter Table - Sample parameter configuration file
- Initial Pools Dataset - Model initial pool input dataset Customization:Parameters should be adjusted according to site-specific characteristics. Detailed parameter definitions are provided in the tables within the publication.
Data Assimilation (DA)
- Observations for DA - Example format for observational data used in data assimilation
- Prior Parameter Ranges - Example prior distributions and parameter bounds for data assimilation
Data Preparation Guidelines
Important: These are template files for demonstration purposes. To run TECO-CNP with your own data:
- Step 1: Download the example files to understand the required data structure
- Step 2: Prepare your own forcing data following the example format
- Step 3: Customize site parameters based on your study site characteristics
- Step 4: Format your observational data for data assimilation (if applicable)
Quick Start: Use the complete Tiantong 2001 dataset for initial model testing before preparing your own data.
System Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Operating System: Linux, macOS, Windows (with WSL)
- Compiler: Fortran 90/95 compatible (gfortran recommended)
- Libraries:LAPACK, BLAS, LAPACKE
